ABOUT NURSING SCHOOL
Nurses are very important in every country as they offer supportive roles to doctors in the quest to save lives and attend to sick people. In most cases, nursing are in charge of making sure patients take their medications and taking other necessary indices such as blood pressure and temperature normally. They are mostly found in all the significant departments of the healthcare profession.
Apart from the fact that the course offers lots of amazing opportunities for professionals within and outside the nation, there is a guarantee that no matter how bad the employment state is, there will be need for nurses. This in itself is not surprising as there are more demands for nurses in Nigerian hospitals both in public and private sector. Some Universities offer this course as parts of the available courses in school, While some others have a special institution for the programme. Many candidates now rush for this course. In fact, Nursing Science is now one of the most picked courses in the country, according to JAMB.
Before we get to the crux of the matter, it’s important to shape the minds of many that the nursing profession is not meant for ladies only, it’s unisex (a man can be a nurse too) and arguably one of the most enviable professions in the Nigerian labor market today. The profession is secure, reliable, and highly respected compared to some other professions where there’s no job security. In fact, before you see a Doctor in a hospital, you must have seen several Nurses.
