It was established in February 1964 The duration of training at the Nigerian Defence Academy is 5 years (4 years Academic + 1 year Military).

ACCEPTANCE FEE:
All successfully admitted candidates in the 2021/2022 Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) admissions exercise are expected to pay a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of thirty-five thousand (N35,000) only.
Note: All newly admitted students must pay their acceptance fee before they can print their admission notification letter and other related admission documents.
