The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) is a Federal higher institution located in Maiduguri, the capital city of Borno State in northeast Nigeria. The university was created by the federal government of Nigeria in 1975, with the intention of its becoming one of the country’s principal higher-education institutions. University of Maiduguri offer various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, It enrolls about 25,000 students in its combined programs. With the encouragement of the federal government, the university has recently been increasing its research efforts, particularly in the fields of agriculture and conflict resolution, and expanding the university press. The university is the major higher institution of learning in the north-eastern part of the country.

From the last time we checked the university of Maiduguri don’t demand for acceptance fee. Although we had to place several calls through to the institution to determine that claim. Please ask the institution admission office for further information thereon .
UNIMAID Hostel Accommodation Fee
Fifteen thousand one hundred and thirty-five Naira (N15,135.00) for Aisha Hall, Aisha Annex (Titanic) Hall, Murtala Mohammed Hall, Ado Bayero Hall, Ado Bayero Titanic Hall, Sardauna Hall, Ibrahim Imam Ha, Tafawa Balewa Hall and Aisha Muhammdu Buhari Hall, New Male Hostel “A” and New Male Hostel “B” Twenty-two Thousand six hundred and thirty-five Naira N22,635.00.
Unimaid Accommodation Portal | How To Apply For Hostel In Unimaid
Follow the procedure outlined below to make payment for unimaid hostel
- First you have to visit the UNIMAID Micro Finance Bank,
- then you have to ask for a teller, fill in all the details or you can ask someone in the bank to help you.
- You will have to make a payment of 1000.
- Don’t forget to collect your hostel accommodation receipts from the bank.
- Proceed to the student affairs unit with your teller and receipts from the bank (attached with two photos of yours)
- Print and keep your Payment receipt. You will need it!
Please don’t forget to travel in with all of your fees receipts, don’t ever submit any original document of yours, just make a photocopy of them as many as you’ll.
