This is to inform all the students and members of staff of the Niger Delta University (NDU), that the management of the institution has released the academic calendar for the 2020/2021 Session.

Niger Delta University (NDU) is in Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State in Nigeria is a Bayelsa state government funded university. It was established in 2000 by Chief DSP Alamieyeseigha, then governor of Bayelsa state. It has two main campuses, one in the state capital, Yenagoa, which contains the law faculty, and the other in Amassoma. It also has its teaching hospital known as Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH) in Okolobiri.

Niger Delta University (NDU) academic calendar contains all important academic activities that have been scheduled to take place in the University for the 2020/2021 academic session. All students and lecturers of the school are hereby informed.
According to the Calendar, academic activities will commence on Friday 11 June, 2021 and end on Saturday 18 December, 2021.

- Lectures Begin – Monday, June 21, 2021
- Late Registration of Courses by all Students – Monday-Saturday, July 5-17, 2021
- Lectures End – Friday, August 27, 2021
- Faculty of Education First Semester Examination Begins and Ends — Monday-Saturday, August 30-Sept. 4. 2021
- GST First Semester Examination Begins and Ends — Monday-Saturday, September 6-11, 2021
- All other Faculties First Semester Examination Begins and Ends – Monday – Saturday, September 13-25, 2021
- Senate Consideration of First Semester — Wednesday, October 27, 2021
SECOND SEMESTER
- Lectures Begin — Monday, September 27, 2021
- Lectures End — -Friday, November 19, 2021
- Faculty of Education Second Semester Examination Begins and Ends — Monday-Saturday, Nov. 22-27 2021
- GST Second Semester Examination — -Monday – Saturday, Nov. 29 – Dec 4, 2021
