Approved DELSU Matriculation Ceremony Date, Time & Venue [Verified]

This is to inform staff and students, especially candidates who have been admitted in the Regular Intensive/Part-Time and Diploma Programmes that the Matriculation Ceremony for 2020/2021 Academic Session has been scheduled for Saturday, May 8, 2021 in all Campuses of the University, as indicated below:

ABRAKA CAMPUS:

Time: 9.00 am

Venue: 1000 Seating Capacity Lecture Theatre site III

Note: Students are to be seated by 8.30 am.

OLEH CAMPUS:

Time: 11:00am

Venue: 1000 Seating Capacity Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Engineering

Note: Students are to be seated by 10.30 m

ASABA CAMPUS:

Time : 1:00pm

Venue: 1000 Seating Capacity Lecture Theatre, Anwal Campus Asaba

Note : Students are to be seated by 12:30pm

All Principal Officers of the University, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, staff and students are hereby invited.

Consequently, all Faculty Officers are requested to visit the Senate Divisions from Wednesday, May 5, 2021 for collection of academic gowns for their matriculating students

Matriculating students should note that all gowns collected MUST be returned in good condition to the Senate Division not later than Monday, May 10, 2021, failing which, the matriculants would pay a Fee of Five Hundred Naira (N500) for each day the gown is retained; while a penal fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) would be charged as cost of replacement for any gown not returned or damaged

Matriculating students should also note that on no account must they rent their gowns to photographers in the University Security operatives have been directed to impound such gowns found with unauthorized persons.
