The authorities of the Kano State Polytechnic have published the adjusted academic calendar for the second semester, 2019/2020 academic session.
This is to inform all the students (both full and part time) and members of staff of the Kano State Poly, that the management of the institution has released the academic calendar revised for the 2019/2020 Session.
Kano State Polytechnic is a government-owned tertiary learning institution located in Kano, North-Western Nigeria. It was established in 1975. The polytechnic has been official accredited and/or recognized by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
Kano State Polytechnic academic calendar contains all important academic activities that have been scheduled to take place in the University for the 2020/2021 academic session. All students and lecturers of the school are hereby informed.
According to the Calendar, academic activities will commence on Monday 14th June, 2021 and end on Friday 24th December, 2021.

- Monday, 26th July to Friday, 6th August, 2021 —- Submission of question papers & marking schemes
- Monday, 9th August to Friday, 13th August, 2021 —- Moderation of Question papers & Marking schemes
- Monday, 9th August to Friday 13th August, 2021 — Release of Continuous Assessment and entertainment of Students Complaints
- Monday, 23 August to Saturday, 4th September, 2021 — Examination Period
- Friday, 17th September 2021 — End of submission of marked Exams Script Project Assessment/Score sheet
- Friday, 24th September 2021 — End of Moderation of marked Exams
- Friday, 8th October 2021 — End of Results Compilation
- Monday, 11th October to Friday, 22nd October 2021 — DB/SAB Meetings
- Monday, 3rd November to Wednesday, 24th November 2021 — PAB Business Committee Meetings
- Monday, 6 September to Friday, 26 November 2021 —- SIWES programme for NDI 2019/2020 Session (Management Science Students)
- Monday, 6th September to Friday, 24th December 2021 — SIWES programme for NDI 2019/2020 Session (Science & Technology Students)
- Monday, 13th September to Friday, 22nd October 2021 — Mandatory Skills Acquisition Programme(MSAP) for NDII, NCE III & HND II)
- 27th September 2021 — Commencement of 2020/2021 Academic Session
