Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) is a Federal Government owned University established in 1980. The university was located in Owerri West, the capital of Imo State, Nigeria. It is the premier federal university of technology in the south east and south south parts of Nigeria.

Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) JUPEB Application Fee is N16, 000.00 (Sixteen Thousand Naira) only and should be paid through the FUTO Remita payment platform, please note that the fees is non-refundable. you will, however, be required to pay appropriate bank charges.
The CCE Basic Studies programme is designed to prepare students for the examinations conducted by the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB).
FUTO JUPEB Programme Admission Requirements
Candidates must possess five (5) O’ Level Credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings in relevant subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Biology/Agricultural Science

At the end of the Programme, the CCE basic Studies students will write the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Examinations which will qualify them for consideration for Direct Entry (D/E) admission through JAMB into the year two (2) in FUTO or any other JUPEB affiliated Universities.
