Kaduna State Polytechnic KADPOLY cut off mark for the 2020/2021 academic session admission exercise has been released and published online on micplustech.com

The school management of the Kaduna State Polytechnic (KADPOLY) has released the jamb and departmental cut-off marks for the 2020/2021 academic session admission exercise.

This will be the JAMB score that will be used for admission into Kaduna State Polytechnic for the 2020/2021 academic session.

Kaduna Polytechnic is one of the earliest polytechnics in Nigeria, located at Tudun Wada area of Kaduna South local government of Kaduna state, North-Western Nigeria. It was established in 1956 as Kaduna Technical Institute after the British Government accepted the upgrading of Yaba Higher College (now Yaba College of Technology) to a technical institute and also proposed the establishment of technical institutes in Kaduna and Enugu through the recommendation of the Higher Education Commission.

WHAT IS CUT OFF MARK

Cut off mark is an agreed score set by a particular institution as a basics of admitting students into the department of study. This score is usually accredited to candidates based on their performance in a particular examination. However, students who have scored above the required cut off mark will be given admission and preferentially treated in admission process above those who have met the exacts cut off mark.

KADPOLY JAMB AND DEPARTMENTAL CUT OFF MARK 2020-2021

To be eligible to participate in Kaduna Poly Post UTME screening exercise, you must have attained the follow mark in the last Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME):

NCE Programmes:

100 and above

ND Programmes:

120 and above

B.Ed(Tech) programmes:

180 and above in affiliation with Federal University of Technology, Minna

B.sc programmes:

180 and above in affiliation with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in either Architecture, Building, Urban/Regional Planning, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Kaduna Polytechnic (ND, NCE and B.Ed (Tech)/B.Sc) Programmes to log into Kaduna Polytechnic website (www.kadunapolytechnic.edu.ng.) for instructions on the Post UTME screening exercise.

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE POST-UTME SCREENING

The Post UTME Screening is for those that had the following scores in the 2020 (UTME)

  • 120 and above for ND Programmes
  • 100 and above for NCE Programmes
  • 180 and above for B.Ed (Tech) programmes in affiliation with Federal University of Technology, Minna,
  • 180 and above for BSc in the following programmes in affiliation with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria:
    1. Architecture
    2. Building
    3. Urban & Regional Planning
    4. Chemical Engineering
    5. Civil Engineering
    6. Electrical/Electronics Engineering
    7. Mechanical Engineering
  • Such candidates must have indicated Kaduna Polytechnic as their First Choice Institution
  • Candidates that indicated interests in Kaduna Polytechnic as their 2nd Choice and 3rd Choice are advised to change to First Choice.

Candidates within Kaduna Metropolis can come to Kaduna Polytechnic ICT Centre for ease of on-line Registration, subject to the payment of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira Only) as directed by JAMB. The payment is to be made through KadPoly website at KadPoly Microfinance Bank or any Commercial bank upon presentation of Remitta generated from the site.

Only candidates that participate in the Screening Exercise will be considered for admission into Kaduna Polytechnic.

The Screening Exercise commences on 4th July, 2020.

Candidates who applied for admission are STRONGLY advised to upload their SSCE/NECO/NABTEB results to JAMB website (CAPS), at any nearest JAMB Accredited CBT Centre. Failure to do so would deny candidates admission.
