Arising from the insatiable quest of the people of the State for education and excellence, the idea of establishing the Sokoto State University was conceived, articulated and executed by formal Governor of Sokoto State Aliyu Wamakko when he established the Sokoto State University Implementation Committee in 2008. - Candidates who score exactly or above the required cut off mark.
- UTME Candidates who chose Sokoto State University as their preferred choice of institution during the UTME Registration.
- Candidates are also required to obtain the required O’level credits for their programmes as specified in JAMB Brochure.
- Candidate must be at least 16 year of age
- Interested UTME Candidates who did not choose Sokoto State University during the UTME Registration but wish to study in the University, should change to the SSU via JAMB website.
