The school management of Sokoto State University (SSU) invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its various Degree programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session.

How Much Is Sokoto State University Post UTME/Direct Entry Admission Form?
Sokoto State University (SSU) Post UTME/DE Application Fee is N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only and should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL, please note that the fees is non-refundable. you will, however, be required to pay appropriate bank charges.
SSU Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Eligibility:
- Candidates who chose Sokoto State University as their preferred choice of institution during the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) Registration.
- UTME candidate must have a minimum of 140 and above in the UTME Examination.
- Candidates with a minimum of (5) O’ level credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) as specified in JAMB Brochure.
- In addition, Direct Entry candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of the A’level (Diploma, NCE, IJMB, etc) certificate/notification of the result on the University portal.
- Candidate must be at least 16 (Sixteen) of age.
- Interested Candidates who did not choose Sokoto State University during the UTME/Direct Entry Registration but wish to study in the university, should change to the SSU via JAMB website.

How To Apply For SSU Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form
Sokoto State University Post-UTME/DE Screening Form is now on sale and available for purchase online. Interested candidates should follow the procedure outlined below to Apply now:
Step 1: Visit the Screening Portal at portal.ssu.edu.ng.
Step 2: Enter your JAMB Registration Number as username and password.
Step 3: Click on ‘Update Data’ link to update your phone number and email address.
Step 4: Generate and print your screening payment invoice of the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000), only containing Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number, thereafter proceed to any commercial bank nationwide to make payment or click on ‘Pay Now’ link to pay using any of the instant Remita payment channels.
Step 5: After payment, login to your screening account again and update your biodata, academic records and other required information. D.E candidates are required to upload their A’level certificates/results (Diploma, NCE, IJMB, etc). Print your acknowledgement slip and payment receipt for record purposes
Step 6: Upload your O’level/A’ level result (PDF format of not more than 50KB).
Step 7: Print your acknowledgement slip and payment receipt for record purposes.
Note that wrong/false information provided by any candidate shall render the application invalid and such candidates shall be disqualified.
