The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) is a public, conventional, coeducational, research university located in Gusau, Zamfara State, Nigeria. The University is one of the twelve new federal Universities which were established in States where none existed, and shall offer programmes in Arts-based and Science-based disciplines.
WHAT IS CUT OFF MARK
Cut off mark is an agreed score set by a particular institution as a basics of admitting students into the department of study. This score is usually accredited to candidates based on their performance in a particular examination. However, students who have scored above the required cut off mark will be given admission and preferentially treated in admission process above those who have met the exacts cut off mark.
FUGUS CUT OFF MARK FOR 2020-2021 ADMISSION SESSION
The management of the Federal University Gusau Zamfara State (FUGUS) has released the cut off mark for the 2020/22021 academic session admission exercise. FUGUS general Post-UTME cut off mark for the 2020/2021 academic session is 160.
It is very easy to obtain admission if one has met the required FUGUS cut off mark for admission into a particular course.
This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Federal University Gusau (FUGUS), Zamfara State for the 2020/2021 Academic Session, and who made the Institution their FIRST CHOICE that the University has fixed Wednesday, 28th August, 2020, as date for the Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise.
All UTME candidates must have at least 160 JAMB Score before they are eligible for the screening. The Direct Entry (DE) candidates must at least have a lower credit at National Diploma and a minimum of seven (7) points at NCE/IJMB from recognized Institutions as qualifications required for eligibility
HOW TO APPLY FOR FUGUS POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE
Online Registration for the exercise commences on Wednesday 14th August, 2020 and closes on Tuesday, 27th August, 2020. To register, candidates are required to log onto FUGUS website putme.fugusau.edu.ng, follow the instructions provided for the registration to generate a Remita invoice and make a payment of two thousand naira only (N 2,000) including Bank charges for the exercise.
Candidates are required to come along with the following:
1- Original and photocopy of UTME Slip
2- Original and photocopy of DE Slip
3- Original and photocopies of credentials
4- Evidence of payment/Remita
5- Two (2) passport size photographs
All candidates are expected to be at the venue of the screening not later than 8:00am, as late comers will not be entertained. Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening on the date indicated above will not be considered thereafter.
