The school management of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun has released the proposed academic calendar for 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 session.

This is to inform all the students (both undergraduate and postgraduate) and members of staff of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), that the management of the institution has released the academic calendar for the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 session.

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE) is an internationally-recognized Nigerian university, Established 14 March 2007 and admitted its first set of undergraduates in 2008. The university was located in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Areas (LGA), Delta State, Nigeria. It’s the first petroleum university in Africa and sixth in the world.

Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Effurun academic calendar contains all important academic activities that have been scheduled to take place in the University for the 2020/2021 academic session. All students and lecturers of the school are hereby informed.

According to the Calendar, academic activities will commence on January 18th, 2021 for all undergraduate and postgraduate students.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Students must be made to understand that the Calendar is sacrosanct and are therefore strongly advised to key into it for the smooth running of the new Session. Senate will not under any circumstance, entertain requests for shift in commencement dates scheduled for examinations.
• Course registration is not only mandatory but imperative for validation of students’ status
• Students should please NOTE that Senate will not entertain any request for re-opening of Portal for registration after the closing date for registration i.e. 8 weeks after resumption.
• Students who fail to meet the 8 weeks allowed for registration are advised to print out an automated letter of temporary withdrawal from studies for the session.
