  • B3 – 8.0 points
  • C4 – 7.0 points
  • C5 – 6.0 points
  • C6 – 5.0 points

Note: This should be used to calculate the 5 subjects that are related to your desired course of study.

Step 3: After adding your O’level result together using the method stated above divide it by 5

Step 4: Next, add it to your post UTME score.

Step 5: Add the results in step 1, 3 and 4 above together and that is your aggregate score.

EXAMPLE:

Your Post UTME Score = 32

Your JAMB Score = 250

Your O’Level Result B2, C6, A1, B3, and C4

SOLUTION:

Jamb score 250 ÷ 8 = 31.25

Post UTME = 32

O’level = 9.0 + 5.0 + 10.0 + 8.0 + 7.0 = 39.0

39.0 ÷ 5 = 7.8 therefore 7.8 + (post utme score) 32 = 39.8

39.8 + 31.25 = 71.5

Your Aggregate/Average Score is 71.5 and this is what determines if you are up to your departmental cut off mark.
