Bayero University Kano (BUK) is a university situated in Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. It was founded in 1975, when it was renamed from Bayero University College and upgraded from university college to university. It is the first university in Kano State

Bayero University, Kano (BUK) academic calendar contains all important academic activities that have been scheduled to take place in the University. All students and lecturers of the school are hereby informed.
According to the Calendar, academic activities will commence on Monday 24th October 2022 and end on Monday 22nd May 2023 for all undergraduate and postgraduate students.
