Rivers State University, formerly Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST), is a university located in the Diobu area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. It is the first technological university in Nigeria and also the first university to be situated within the Niger Delta.

The management of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, (RSUST) has released the cut-off mark for the 2024/2025 admission exercise. RSU general Post-UTME minimum cut-off mark for the 2024/2025 academic session is 190 and Above.
This will be the JAMB score that will be used for admission into RSU for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Rivers State University of Science and Technology does not really have a specific cut off mark for courses.

RSUST Post UTME Eligibility:
- Candidates who score exactly or above the required cut off mark.
- Candidates who chose Rivers State University as their First Choice of institution during the UTME Registration.
- Candidates are also required to obtain the required O’level credits for their programmes as specified in JAMB Brochure.
- Candidate must be at least 16 year of age
- Interested Candidates who did not choose Rivers State University of Science and Technology during the UTME Registration but wish to study in the University, should change to the RSU via JAMB website.
