Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University is a university in Niger State, central Nigeria. It had its first convocation in 2014. It was named after the former Nigeria Head of State General Ibrahim Babangida. The university started academic activities in the 2005/2006 academic session.

All successfully admitted candidates in the 2023/2024 Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU) admissions exercise (100 Level and Direct Entry) are expected to pay a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) only.
All newly admitted students must pay their acceptance fee before they can print their admission notification letter and other related admission documents. Acceptance fee payment will have to be paid via Interswitch from any bank or Quickteller and confirmed before you can proceed. Upon confirmation of your payment, please allow for 1 hour interval before proceeding to print your admission letter.

Be informed that Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai acceptance fee is to be paid within the stipulated period as directed by the management of the institution as failure to comply means automatic forfeiture of admission.
