The University of Calabar (UNICAL) is a university situated in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. It is one of Nigeria’s second generation federal universities. The University of Calabar was a campus of the University of Nigeria until 1975. The architecture was designed by John Elliott. It was established by decree to fulfill this traditional mandate, its motto “Knowledge for Service”.

Newly admitted students are all advised to go through the information provided below to confirm the acceptance fee to be paid by all fresh students of University of Calabar.
UNICAL Admission Acceptance Fee Amount
All successfully admitted candidates in the 2023/2024 University of Calabar (UNICAL) admissions exercise (100 Level and Direct Entry) are expected to pay a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Twenty-five thousand Naira (N25,000) only.
All freshers are to pay this fee as soon as they confirm their names on the admission list but please note that the fee could change and this is at the discretion of the management of the university. So it is advised you reconfirm before making payment online.

UNICAL Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure
Kindly Follow the UNICAL admission acceptance fee payment procedures outlined below carefully:
- Visit any commercial bank nearest to you.
- Pay the University of Calabar acceptance fee on E-tranzact.
- The bank will give you the E-tranzact printout or slip.
- Then visit UNICAL official website www.myunical.edu.ng.
- Search For acceptance fee and click on it or click here.
- Then enter your jamb registration number, your phone number and confirmation order number on your E-tranzact slip, and then generate your acceptance fee receipt.
- Then login and print out your acceptance fee receipt.
- Then visit your department for screening before payment of school fees.
Be informed that University of Calabar acceptance fee is to be paid within the stipulated period as directed by the management of the institution as failure to comply means automatic forfeiture of admission.
You are advised to keep all printed documents as you will be required to submit them during registration.
