Rufus Giwa Polytechnic which was formerly known and addressed as “The Ondo State Polytechnic,Owo” was established in 1979 while it commenced activities in January 1980. The primary mandate of the Institution as concieved by the Ondo State Government being its proprietor stillremains of middle-level manpower in Science and Technology related fields of study as part of efforts aimed at an effective development of Technology in Ondo State in particular and Nigeria in general.

How Much Is Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Post UTME Admission Form?
Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) Post UTME Application Fee is N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only and should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL, please note that the fees is non-refundable. you will, however, be required to pay appropriate bank charges.
RUGIPO Post UTME Screening Eligibility:
- Candidates who chose Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo during the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Registration
- Candidate must have the minimum JAMB score for Polytechnics in the 2023 UTME.

Applicants for the screening exercise are also requested to upload the following:
- JAMB Data (with score)
- Ordinary Level results (WAEC, NECO, GCE and NABTEB)
- Passport photograph
- Candidates are also to upload their O’Level result(s) on JAMB CAPS before final consideration for admission
