The school management of Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Institution’s various undergraduate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session.
Lagos State University of Science and Technology is a government-owned tertiary institution located in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. It was established in 1977. The institution was formerly known as Lagos State College of Science and Technology (LACOSTECH) and later changed to Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH).

How Much Is Lagos State University of Science and Technology Post UTME Admission Form?
Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) Post UTME Application Fee is N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only and should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL, please note that the fees is non-refundable. you will, however, be required to pay appropriate bank charges.
LASPOTECH Post UTME Eligibility:
- Candidates who chose Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their preferred choice of institution during the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Registration
- Candidate must have a minimum of 180 and above in the UTME Examination
- Candidates with a minimum of (5) O’ level credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings as specified in JAMB Brochure.
- Candidate must be at least 16 year of age
- Interested Candidates who did not choose Lagos State University of Science and Technology during the UTME Registration but wish to study in the University, should change to the LASUSTECH via JAMB website.
Prospective candidates are STRONGLY advised to upload their ‘O’ LEVEL RESULTS unto the JAMB website (CAPS) at the nearest JAMB Office or JAMB accredited CBT Centre.

How To Apply For LASUSTECH Post UTME Form
Lagos State University of Science and Technology Post-UTME Screening Form is now on sale and available for purchase online. Interested candidates should follow the procedure outlined below to Apply now:
Applicants should go to the University’s admission website, https://admission.lasustech.edu.ng, and pay a fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only for the purpose of online registration for the screening exercise using a Master/VISA internet Enabled Debit Card (ATM), as well as familiarise themselves with the available programmes in the University and the requirements for O’Level, A’Level, and UTME subjects for each of the programmes so indicated.
Applicants must properly complete and submit the online application forms, as well as provide a digital copy of their passport images on white background, in JPEG format, and no larger than 22kb.
Any applicant with a blurred picture on the acknowledgement page will be denied entry to the screening centre since the photograph will be used for identification. Candidates should be aware that fulfilment of this condition is required. Applicants must supply legitimate and active e-mail addresses and phone numbers for the convenience of communication.
Applicants should take note that they are required to have uploaded their O-Level results on CAPS before the University can offer them admission. Additionally, once candidates have been offered admission, they are required to either accept or reject the offer on CAPS before JAMB’s closure for the year.
Applicants who are awaiting WAEC or NECO results are ineligible to apply. Inconsistencies in names on O’Level and UTME results are also unacceptable to the University and may result in disqualification. Candidates’ names must match their O’Level results and other registration paperwork.
Before applying for any of the University’s programmes, candidates must visit the admission portal at https://admission.lasustech.edu.ng/ to complete and submit their applications while ensuring strict compliance with the University’s admission guidelines.
APPLICATION CLOSING DATE:
The deadline for the online submission of application form is on Sunday, 3rd September 2023.
GENERAL INFORMATION.
- Every candidate must satisfy the O’Level requirements of the programme of his/her choice before completing the online application form
- It’s obligatory for all candidates to upload their ‘O’ Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
- Only candidates of Lagos State Origin, for 100 level and Direct Entry, who have proven their claims successfully before the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) set up by the lagos State University of Science and Technology, will be allowed to participate in the Online Admission Screening Exercise.
- LASUSTECH emphasises that this particular screening exercise absolves candidates from any need to be physically present on the university campus.
